World Energy Crisis

There is a wild elephant in the room, but no one can see it. If you don’t spot it now, then it will trample you and your room. That’s what this website aims to do: help you spot this elephant and run away from it fast enough before it causes destruction.

This wild elephant we speak of is the Global Energy Crisis. Conclusions that the world is heading towards an unprecedented, large and potentially devastating global energy crisis due to a decline in the availability of cheap oil lead to a decreasing dependency on fuel. Evidence of this is everywhere: - from inflation of practically all goods in the market such as gasoline, flowers, cars, and plane tickets to increasing demand of oil.

How aware the human race is of the energy crisis and our current actions, or lack of, will determine how soon and how severely the crisis will strike us. Our awareness will play a major role in determining social and global interactions, the rate of climate change, development in certain areas of the world and future populations of many species including humans.

This website is a product of the collaboration of a multinational group of students from schools in Russia, Kenya and the United States of America, are trying to make a difference by spreading awareness of The Global Energy Crisis, with its effects, implications, and solutions that you could implement in your daily life and what you as an individual can do to help humanity.

We urge you take initiative, tell your friends and family about this website and the Global Energy Crisis and inform them how they could help alleviate it too.
